Violence in Brazil

On sunday, in Belo Horizonte, a 20-year-old man was shot to death in a disput before a soccer match. It was due to a fight before the match between city rivals Atletico Mineiro and Cruzeiro. The man was on his way to the Mineirao Stadium when he was shot in the neck by rival supporters. This past weekend included the death of this man and the injuries of 40 people in separate incidents at soccer matches across Brazil.

  1. This is pretty bad, if just going to a sporting event gets you shot. Hopefully this doesn't deter people from going to sporting events.

  2. Thats bad that sports have become so competitive to a point where fans are getting this out of control.
