Dog plays fetch with Live Grenade

In Germany a dog playing fetch found and delivered to it's owner a live grenade from World War II. Police came to the town of Erkrath and took the object to identify and defuse it. The police were called by the 40-yr old owner when she stopped walking her dog and realized the rusty object that her dog was carrying it's in mouth.
Grenades and bombs left over from World War II are still often found in Germany.

Sometimes even whole towns are evacuated so that the bomb can be diffused properly!

Don't ask, don't tell

The Supreme Court yesterday declined to hear a constitutional challenge to the Pentagon's "don't ask, don't tell" policy banning openly gay people from serving in the U.S. military.

"I think this decision is an absolute travesty of justice and I think every judge on this court should be ashamed of themselves," said Pietrangelo, who served six years in the Army, seven years in the Vermont National Guard, and fought in Iraq in 1991.

Times are changing, and the public is more supportive of letting gays serve in the military.
According to a July 2008 Washington Post/ABC News poll, 75 percent of Americans favor allowing gays to serve openly in the services, compared with 44 percent in 1993.

Its only a matter of time before gays can serve openly in the military. Gays solders have just as many rights as straight solders do and having to "stay in the closet" is injustice...This is United States of America...The land of the FREE! All men and woman are created EQUAL! This is INJUSTICE! Gays and Lesbians are PEOPLE too!

LET GAYS SERVE in the military!

Air Strike gone bad.

Last month an air srike was called in against Talaban militants. The strike hit it's target, and much more. The strike flowed onto the civilians that we say we are there to protect. The personel in charge of the Air Strike justifies the actions of the troops by saying that the number of militants killed "greatly outnumbered" the number of civilians.

This is crap, the military has extensive training methods, and they know what the Geneva Convention says about killing civilians with no provacation. As of right now, there is not going to be any sort of court martial or any sort of trial. This is where more and more Americans will adopt anti-war beliefs, just like in Vietnam, based off of immoral treatment to civilians.

Crash of Air France 447

The first bodies have been recovered from the crash of Air France 447 returned to land Tuesday, as helicopters landed on the Brazilian archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, according to a CNN reporter on the scene. Two Brazilian helicopters, each able to carry up to eight bodies, took off earlier to rendezvous with the Brazilian navy ship carrying the 24 bodies that have been recovered so far. Air France 447 crashed in the Atlantic Ocean last week en route from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to Paris, France, with 228 passengers and crew on board. It was the deadliest plane crash ever for Air France. The cause of the crash is not yet known, but investigators are looking at the role of airspeed sensors known as pitot tubes, among other factors.

Viva La Vita by Coldplay Pladurized?

Fellow Youtubers responded to an announcement from the rock artist Satriani that Coldplay stole the rhythm to If I could fly (2004) and put it into their song "Viva La Vita". Though most are outraged by this a music cologist Prince Charles Alezandar (probably not spelled right) said that "most songs are all inspired by other songs and it should inspire people to put their their best in their work."
