Fed-Up North Carolina Father Shoots Daughter’s Laptop

A man in North Carolina shot his daughter’s laptop because she had posted some comments on facebook criticizing her parents. She was being extremely disrespectful and needed to be checked, so her dad took her laptop and showed her who she was messing with. The cops allegedly told the man, “Kudos, sir.” The man was also visited by child-protection authorities who deemed him safe. He wasn’t crazy or dangerous, just really mad. Since no one was put in any serious danger, I think the man did the right thing. What’s ridiculous however is that after complaining about not having a job, a nearby coffee and ice-cream shop offered her a job.

    1. You'd have to challenge the man to a draw to take her out on date.

  4. Well you can see why he would do this. Even if a computer is high priced at least he did not shoot a person but only a computer. The guy has some self control. Poor kid though.

    1. It's still a pretty extreme reaction. There was absolutely no need to bring firearms into the equation.

  6. I can understand why he was mad but I think he overreacted in shooting her computer, if I was a responsible parent without anger-management problems I would tell her to delete her account what ever social netword she posted it on, and if I as the parent found out that she created an account behind our backs, then I would take action and take her laptop away. That is what a normal parent would do... I wonder what happended when her mother found out.
