U.S Warships docked in Libya

This weekend two U.S warships docked in Libya, on the southern Mediterranean island of Crete, carrying around 1,200 Marines. The day before an assault ship with a fleet of helicopters and an attack destroyer arrived carrying about 4,000 personnel including Marines. They docked at the base in Crete to create tension in Libya. Obama has provided the U.S military to aircraft to assist in evacuating refugees, and has asked Muammar Gaddafi to step down.
