Runescape recently re-released free trade and the wilderness which was controversially shut down 3 years back due to mass amounts of scammers in the online game. Many people were happy with the outcome of the update while others were furious, saying that they would quit if free trade were not brought back. With the lowest population in the games history since its debut in 2001 the publisher Jagex sat down after a petition was signed by over 1.5 million players and concluded the re-establishment of free trade would be best not only for the game but for the company.
It's good that he did it both for the fans, the game and the company.
