On monday 8 Muslim Uighurs were executed in China for being involved in riots back in July.
About 200 people were killed in the riot.
They were charged for murder, robbery, arson, and destruction of property.

ReplyDeleteThe ninth person was not a muslilm uighur though. They were a Chinese citizen that was executed for killing one of the muslim uighur rioters.

you can find the jist of it all, but to some it all up basically its from tension that has been building up for a year now. Its been building up between the minority, the muslim uighur, and the dominant Han Chinese Authorities.

ReplyDeleteThe riot started they think when there was an investigation of the deaths of 2 uighurs after a fight between a Han worker and a uighur and the Chinese police tried to break up the sit in protest.

ReplyDeleteI don't think that it was fair that they got execute for the choices of other people. Just because they were the head of the organization doesnt immediately make them responsible for the deaths, fires, and dectruction of property. Are we supposed to kill all the teachers and administration when a student chooses to start a shooting at a school? How about all the wars? Are we supposed to execute everyone in the government, including the President because of the actions of others? Because someone doesn't agree with someone else. Its unethical. People should not be able to take the life of another based on someone else and their choices and actions.
