California won't be selling televisions unless they are energy efficient. Beginning in 2011, all new TV's up to 58" must be energy efficient or they won't be sold anywhere in Cali. In 2013 the standard will change and be more strict and only a quarter of the TV's on market today will meet it. Why ban TV's when there are more things in the home that Suck energy like a vacuum cleaner?

ReplyDeleteThey banned tv's because most people use it everyday and you don't use a vacuum everyday, I think it makes sense but they need to give it more time

ReplyDeleteThis seems a little over the top. At the same time I can see why they are doing this. Plus they're not completly banned TV's just making people buy environmentaly safe TV's.
