Powder on the coast

The royal Navy seized 212 bales of cocaine weighing 26 kg each, after finding it on a ship in South America. After seizing all the cocaine they sinked the ship. Commander Andrew Stacey said his crew spent more than 24 hours scouring the vessel for narcotics after stopping it on September 15. Andrew Stacey stated that it was the largest drug bust by value and volume in terms of cocaine.

  1. after further calculation it turns out that there was 12126.4 pounds of cocaine in the 212 bails that were seized. That is roughly 275,000,000 dollars worth of cocaine.
