G20...Making the World A Better Place

The Chinese president Huo Jintao made a speech on Friday about how G20 (a group of 20 nations) should stand together in their fight to boost the economy. He thinks that the problem is because wealth is not being distributed between rich and poor countries. He stated, "But more importantly, it manifests itself in the imbalances in global wealth distribution, resource availability and consumption and the international monetary system." They want the US to trade less and China to export less and they think that by doing this it will make the world a better place. The G20 consists of Brazil, South Korea, Argentina, the US, the UK, Russia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, India, Germany, France, Turkey, South Africa, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Italy, China, Russia, and Japan.
