    The flu can cause heart attacks for people that have cardiovascular disease. The flu can increase heart attacks by 50 percent. Getting the flu vaccination helps. Only 30 to 40 percent get the vaccination. It causes inflammation in the heart and arties causing clots to break off and get stuck in the heart.

    People who use the term "Stomach flu", are incorrect. The vomitting isn't from the flu virus, because the flu virus is only a respitory infection. Students at school usually get sick between 2 and 3 weeks of the flu's arrival.

  10. according to sifynews.com swine flu death raises indias toll up too 262 deaths. Three of them in Karnataka. There is a count of 324 new swine flu causes, makin the total count of 8,477 people affected with the flu in India so far.

  12. W.H.O. says that the first batch of flu vaccinations are a success in China. A group of students in Beijing and Hong Kong were the first to try the new vaccine and reported no serious side effects.

    Childern under the age of 5 and older people in the ages of 65 and up are more vulnuralbe to getting sick. The swine flu is no more deadly then the regular flu. CDC recommend that people take the vaccine in October when it comes out. Most people won't show stymtoms up to 24 hours. You won't find out if you get sick from someone else till after a week.

  15. There are more young people getting swine flu, rather than older people. Officials say people 60 and older may have some immunity to the new virus because of exposure to H1N1 viruses that have been occuring from 1918 to 1957.

  20. 6oo kids were used in the h1n1 testing for the vaccine. Results, the vaccine is working very well in cases of ages 10-17. The ages under 10 don't have as good as results but more data should be in in October.

  22. There have been five new cases of deaths due to the swine flu in India taking the number of deaths to 262 since Tuesday. There has also been 324 new swine flu cases reported in India, and the total number of people affected by the flu is 8,477. 82 deaths have been reported in the city Karnataka, India.

    There has also been succesful vaccine testing on pregnant women and high risk people. kids under ten years old will need two shots of the vaccine.

  25. Using adjuvants (AKA additives in the U.S.’ H1N1 vaccine leaves less opportunity for poorer countries to utilize this resource. Since the virus is contracted more in other countries, U.S. health officials say we have enough vaccine and have decided not to us additives as of now.

  29. This is a comment to Emily R.'s post. I agree that basic personal hygiene is much better then getting a shot. If you wash your hands and cover your mouth and eat right and stay fit you can avoid getting sick a lot better then having to take a shot. I personaly hate shots.
