Tom and his wife pleaded guilty to charges involving the killing of at least two members of the first known wolf pack in Washington State in 70 years. Tom and his wife Erin both agreed to pay a $35,000 fine and both will serve a year in prison when sentenced in July. This photo shows Tom White posing with a dead wolf that was discovered by the shipping workers at the private shipping company in Omak. Some ranchers in the region say the whites have the right to protect their herd. Biologists claim more packs are beginning to form.
