Eaton named USATF athlete of the week

Ashton Eaton has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after winning the IAAF World Indoor Championships heptathlon in a world record of 6,645 points on March 10 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Eaton (Eugene, Ore.) bettered his own world record from 2010 by 146 points. The U.S. now claims the top-three performances of all time with Eaton taking the top two marks and Dan O’Brien’s 1993 world record of 6,476 taking the third spot.
I think it's great that Ashton Eaton has a new world record. What makes it even better is that he is from Eugene, Oregon. I watched that track meet, Eaton is an animal.
