Gang Awareness

You see it everyday, gang members causing mischief in towns and city. But it seems like people don't really know the severity of it. These guys just walk into a jewlery store and steal thousands or dollars worth of jewlery

Masked Halloween gang hold up jewellery store

Police are appealing for information after an armed gang wearing clown and Halloween masks robbed a jewellery shop in Wigan.

The gang of three men were armed with crowbars and a hammer when they robbed the jewellers on Tyldesley Arcade in Wigan shortly after 10.20am on Tuesday 23 October.
They threatened the people in the shop, and ordered two men to get on the floor.
The gang run off with a large amount of jewellery and fled in a stolen dark coloured VW Golf Model R DSG S-A, which had false registration plates, number WJ60FWL.
The three men wore dark trousers, gloves and white T-shirts, with long sleeved dark tops underneath. One man wore a clown mask with a red curly wig, another wore a Halloween mask with a white wig and the third man wore a clown mask with a black curly wig. They were carrying charity buckets.
Detective Inspector Martin Reddington from Wigan CID said: "These men have terrified staff and customers, including a pregnant woman, as they carried out this robbery dressed in horror style masks and armed with weapons.

Police: Teen injured in gang-related attack

Teen said attackers fled together in SUV

MADISON, Wis. -
A Madison teenager told police he was punched and kicked by about five men during an attack Tuesday night.
Police said they were called by the 15-year-old’s mother at 7:10 p.m. to report the incident, which occurred at the Madison Metro West Transfer Point on Tokay Boulevard.
The teen told police the attackers used hooded sweatshirts to conceal their faces and drove off in a black SUV.
Police said they believe the attack is gang-related.
The teenager was not seriously injured.
