Russia a No Show?

Russia threatened to not go to the meeting of senior military people from NATO. Since we all know that Russia is the world's leading consumer of heroin, could this be a coincidence?

According to Rueters, "Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned NATO already that the exercises could hinder efforts to unfreeze the alliance's relations with Moscow, suspended after the Georgia war."

It's being held in Georgia, a now-sovereign territory that had a war with Russia.

It's not very mature to not go somewhere just because someone you don't like is there.

  1. I have a question, what does Russia being the leadest consumer of Heroin have to do with NATO?

  2. this has nothing to do with heroine. it has to do with their invasion of Georgia, Nato is sending people into georgia and russia see's that as provocation

  3. are you thinking about NIDA, the National Institute of Drug Abuse? That has absolutely nothing to do with Russia, it's the National, meaning the nation of america, but good try.
