National; Drunk Driving Instructor

A Massachusetts driving instructor lost his license after instructing a lesson drunk. He was convicted on April 16th. He went into a convenience store during the lesson and the clerk smelled alcohol on his breath. The clerk then noticed the car he was driving was owned by an Auto-School. He was not driving the car but he was in control of the passanger-side brakes and in charge of instructing an unlicensed driver. The instructor claimed he was not drinking and was not put in jail. He will, however, be on probation for 18 months and have he license revoked for an entire year.
