Celebrations in the NFL

Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (OSU) was up to his old antics on Sundday. After scoring diving to haul in a 36-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer in the second quarter, the wide receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson returned to the Cincinnati sideline and put on a sombrero and poncho. For whatever reason, the NFL fined him $30,000 for his actions. Chad Ochocinco is known in the NFL for his very entertaining celebrations, but apparantly the NFL finds this as an insult to other teams or for some reason they don't approve of it.

  2. What? he should be able to celebrate how he wants(appropriatly of course). He was even on the sideline so it shouldn't be a big deal..it would be different if he was on the field doing that.

  3. Thats kind of funny. But It's also dumb how the NFL fines people for their celebrations.
