Stem Cells Heal Hearts


I think it’s cool that we are advancing in stem cell research.  It’s cool that we now have the ability to transfer stem cells to the heart and the cells actually grow into beating heart tissue and reduce the scar tissue in the heart.  It sounds cool like it’s out of sci-fi film or something like that the only concern I have is how safe it is to actually transplant the stem cells into the patient’s body.  I think they need more research on the way they go about the transplants or injections of the stem cells.

    I agree. It's fascinating to hear about such advances yet it's also important to think about how safe the transplant would be.

    know what else is COOL? that people have a choice and if you don't like it then live in a different country and be a dictator and see how that goes. Anyways... This is a cool idea that stem cell research can result in providing life saving results like as was said a new heart or a new organ to replace a damaged one.

    I think this would be cool and stuff but I agree, needs more research about how they do it and how it really works and all. Sounds like a good idea though.
