Purple Squirrel Found

A purple squirrel was found in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. The couple that trapped the it in their backyard claim that they didn't dye the squirrel and have no idea how it got its color. If the squirrel is truely purple, I think it would be interesting to find out what caused the unfamiliar color in its hair. Also, it says a lot about the environment in which the squirrel lives in.
