E-reporting of crimes has a big upside for agencies' efficiency

 

 

POLK COUNTY -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office spent part of 2011 discussing whether to allow citizens to file reports of certain property and petty crimes over the Internet.

 

I think this is a very good program and i'm sure it will pay off at the end it will also be very effective because by reporting the crime onlineit will save the sherriffs time,gas,it wil make it easier for citizens to report a minor crime, and the victim might also give more information online then he would if the deputy was right infront of him/her.
