On December 1, 1951, Rosa Parks did something completely unexpected. She didn't give her bus seat up to a white working class man. She had sparked a revolution for the African Americans, at the same time of her arrest for breaking the Jim Crowe laws, there were boycotts of the Montgomery bus system. This event was a major catalyst of the black rights movement.
