In the 1950s the first modern credit card was introduced to the public by Frank X. McNamara, he figured that we could use a plastic card to make purchases, and make it accessible to different stores and departments.

I dont even ever have cash on me because of this little plastic card. Im thankful!! Its affected so many people today.

ReplyDeleteBut I think the credit card just shows us how to be more materialistic and a more debt revolved society, I just think the debit card is better since you aren't "borrowing" money from a thrid party.

DeleteI think it has helped kept our money more safe. We know how much we have. The exact amount. Instead of leaving money in our wallets, it could end up missing. Or lose track of how much we had. It works great!
