The Department of Agriculture confirmed today that a cow found in central California has a case of Mad Cow Disease. The disease was discovered when the company selected the cow from random selecting. The Department of Agriculture has confirmed that this cow was the fourth in the US to be diagnosed with mad cow disease. Consumers are not at risk because this cow was not bound for food supply in fact they destroyed the cow's carcass.
The opinion I have toward this article is that they should be checking more cows. How many are out there that we haven't discovered yet that may have this disease?! It seems to be immune to animals and humans also because we eat those cows. They should be more crucial about it. There are not a lot of happy cows in California right now and us as humans are granted the job to take care of our livestock hopefully they are doing their job.View this article at this website: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/mad-cow-disease-confirmed-us-cow/story?id=16206200
