Let Me In (2010) - A bullied young boy befriends a young female vampire who lives in secrecy with her guardian.
Though this movie is confusing and dark, it is an excellent, roundabout example of standing up against bullying.
Easy A (2010) - After a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out, a clean cut high school girl (Emma Stone) sees her life paralleling Hester Prynne's in "The Scarlet Letter," which she is currently studying in school - until she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.
Easy A accurately illustrates how rumours spread like wildfire in the highschool setting, ruin one's reputation, humiliate people, and how to cope with them.
Friday (1995) - Craig and Smokey are two guys in Los Angeles hanging out on their porch on a Friday afternoon, smoking and drinking, looking for something to do. Encounters with neighbors and other friends over the course of the day and night, and their ensuing antics, make up the rest of the movie.
Friday is a humorous and ridiculous attempt at portraying the two characters being beat up on, ridiculed, etc.
White Men Can't Jump (1992) - Billy and Sydney think they're the best basketball hustlers in town, so when they join forces, nothing can stop them, except each other. To add to their problems, Billy owes money and is being chased by a pair of gangster types.
This movie does an exceptional job at showing how preconceived judgements about people can be shattered instantaneously, if they are given a chance.
