In Salem Oregon at Chemeketa Community College Sophia Downing, 31, convicted of first-degree manslaughter and one count of assault in a crash that killed two teen pedestrians and injured a third. Downing was under the influence of drugs including muscle relaxant and insomnia medication.
This story shocked me because it is at the college that mosty everyone wants to go to after high school is Chemeketa. This is very frightening I think because it is in Salem, and it is so close to us living in Independence/Monmouth.
